I’m Marcos Young, a professional player with the Miami Sharks in Major League Rugby (MLR).

Throughout my career, I learned that growth happens when you step outside your comfort zone — when you get real minutes in real competitions, and when you immerse yourself in environments that demand more from you.

I started TryAmericas to give developing players the chance I wish I had earlier: to experience top-level rugby overseas, to grow as athletes, and to come back better, smarter, and stronger.

This is about more than just a season abroad — it’s about building the player, and building the future of rugby.
